About me

I initially trained as a Psychiatric Nurse at the Maudsley Hospital, part of Kings College University, London. After two years of working as a front line nurse, I started my training in CBT for psychosis. It was during this training that I became interested in the unconscious processes and its influences our behaviour. This will later influence my decision to start my psychotherapy training at the Arbours Association Training.

I have a special interest in Child and Family, and I am accredited to work with adults, adolescents, and family.

Experience

I have over 15 years' worth of experience of working both in the NHS and private practice offering psychotherapy, executive coaching, counselling and 21 years as a registered nurse.

Holistic approach

I see all my clients as individuals and aim to work with them in a holistic way, i.e, not just focusing on the unconscious processes but looking at other aspects of the individual’s life that might be playing a part in their current difficulties.

Memberships

I am fully insured and a registered member of UKCP (the governing body for psychotherapy) as well as NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council).
